My Skin Care Routine - Day Care

Hi everyone

After having skin problems all through my teen year and even until my early 20's, I went through testing sooo many products that never worked for my skin.  It was such a huge waste of money that I finally went to my dermatologist as the last resort. 

I ended up using a high dose of  Isotretinion, more commonly known as Accutane ( Read more about Isotretinoin ) for 6 months, and this changed my skin completely!  This is very strong and dangerous medication and can only be used if prescribed by a doctor. I can totally relate to anyone suffering with acne which is why I'm mentioning this.

After suffering through all the side effects of this medication, my skin completely cleared up and has been completely clear for the past 4 years. (Knock on wood :)

Accutane left my skin very sensitive and dry, which is what lead me to always look for products for sensitive skins. This these are the products I found and love at the moment!

Review - Perfect Sands Polish

Hi everyone

I know this is nothing new on the market, but I was a bit hesitant about getting these.  I thought it would annoy me that my nail surface is not smooth, but I was pleasantly surprised.  I quite like the way my nails look and it does irritate me at all.

Another nice thing about this is that it lasts very long, doesn't chip.... Just remember, like with any other glittery polishes, this one is a bit harder to remove.

Blue Corset Look

Hi everyone

Just a quick blog for a quick look today.  I love using these water decals when I am in a hurry.  They don't take extra time to dry, so once your 2 layers of polish is dry, you stick them on and you're good to go.

Fruity Friday - Montagne Jeunesse Strawberry Soufflé Mask Review

Hello everyone

I want to introduce a series on my blog.  I will call it Fruity Friday.  Every Friday I will be posting something related to fruit. 

Today I want to share with you my thoughts on the Face Mask I got in my July Subscription of Pretty Box (Check it out here) It's the Bulgarian a sample subscription box,

I must admit, in my skin care routine, a mask is usually the first thing I neglect or sometimes even totally forget about.  But after remembering to use a mask every now and then, I always ask myself why I am not doing it more often. It really does make a difference to the skin to get some extra hydration and nourishment from a mask.

Pastel Yellow Look using Avon Pro nailwear+

Hello everyone

I was so sad when I had to remove this.  It was such a fun and summery look. But it gives me a good excuse to try it again, maybe with a different color next time.  Although I'm not a big fan of the Avon nail polish, this was exactly the color I was looking for. Using a good top coat, makes it last just a little bit longer.

My name is Mari; I’m 25 years old and now live in Bulgaria. (Originally from South Africa) I thought today would be the perfect opportunity to start blogging because I just got my monthly subscription of Pretty Box.
